“Astrid Lindgren’s Diaries”

Today, Astrid Lindgren is primarily regarded as a children’s author (Pippi, Ronia). What is less well known is that she worked for the Swedish secret service during the Second World War and wrote war diaries that raise questions about xenophobia. The diaries, published in 2015, were read aloud by the renowned actress Eva Mattes. This has resulted in a reading accompanied by music, featuring texts from the diaries, passages from Pippi Longstocking, songs from exile, resistance songs, as well as lullabies and children’s songs. 

 

Please note that the literary and musical evening ‘Astrid Lindgren's Diaries’ will be held in German.

The price includes:
